And so back to the Belle Epoque Brasserie, Knutsford once again. The last time I was there in summer it was to shoot the wedding of Milena and Simon. Blazing hot, bright, sunny and everyone outside for a BBQ. For Gary and Jo’s wedding it couldnt have been more different. But still as warm thanks to the open fires !!
Its no secret that the Belle Epoque Brasserie, Knutsford is one of the more challenging for photographers due to it dark intimate interior – in the days of film it would have been impossible to get anywhere near a usable image without loads of flash – which can tend to be a bit off putting. In these digital days, Im amazed at how good the images are given the available light. Another reason for hiring a professional wedding photographer !!
Jo had planned the wedding over the past year and had definite ideas on how it was going to go – basically – a party with a wedding ceremony tacked on !! So we had singing waiters, a Take That tribute act and of course great food – I had the best steak I have ever had !!!
Here are some of my favourite images from the day.
