Afew weeks ago I had the pleasure to document Caroline and Johns winter wedding in Cheshire at the Belle Epoque. Its the perfect venue for a winter wedding in Cheshire – open fires, intimate decor and at this time of the year fantastic Xmas decorations thrown in for free !!
The reason for posting this single image is just to show just how good modern digital cameras are and how careful use of the available light – in this case a single floodlight on the rear terrace – cab result in candid informal images without needing to use flash. Ok, so I was using a Canon 6D with professional grade lenses but even though this was processed in Lightroom5 I had to actually darken in down a little to bring out the details a little more.
I will be posting some more images from the winter wedding of Caroline and John soon – oh and for the gear heads amongst you in was shot at a remarkable 12,800 iso with a shutter speed of 125th @ 2.8. Warning – dont try this on your iPhone !!!
